Transparency matters. This page explains precisely how Oslo Spirit earns revenue and how — or rather, how not — that affects what you read.

Our only active affiliate programme

GetYourGuide is the only affiliate programme active on oslo-spirit.com (partner ID: LDXYA0P). We have no other affiliate relationships — no hotel booking commissions, no car rental deals, no sponsored content arrangements. When you see a "Book now" or "Check availability" button on this site, it links to GetYourGuide and nowhere else.

How the commission works

When you click one of our GetYourGuide links and complete a booking, GetYourGuide pays us a commission. You pay exactly the same price you would pay going directly to GetYourGuide — our commission comes out of GetYourGuide's margin, not yours. There is no surcharge, no hidden fee and no reason to avoid our links.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn't — or at least, it shouldn't, and we work hard to keep it that way. We do not inflate recommendations to generate more clicks. If a tour is overpriced for what it offers, we say so. If an activity is genuinely not worth the money (and in Oslo, some aren't), we tell you. Our honest Oslo section exists precisely to flag tourist traps and overrated attractions.

We never recommend a tour solely because it pays a higher commission rate. We never invent affiliate links or use fictional tour IDs. Every booking link on this site points to a real, verified GetYourGuide product.

How to identify affiliate links

Affiliate links to GetYourGuide open in a new tab and carry rel="sponsored nofollow" in the HTML, as required by Google's guidelines. Buttons labelled "Book now", "Check availability" or "See on GetYourGuide" are affiliate links. Plain text links within guide content are internal links to other pages on oslo-spirit.com unless explicitly labelled otherwise.
